Ireland

Offaly, Ireland. The Castle Kinnetty, our home for a night while doing a lap around Ireland. Ireland is full of castles that double as B&B's. Stay in one if possible!  (and yes, I cheated and used an orange filter on this photo)

Rural Ireland.  This is the kind of scenery you expect to see when you come to the Emerald Isle.

Coastal Ireland.  It's not all just sheep and pastures - the coastal areas are worth some exploration too.

You just drive around a corner and Boom! there's another castle. And usually in a spectacular setting.

The Cliffs of Moher, Ireland. These are the highest sea-cliffs I've ever seen anywhere. One of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions, they're over 700 feet high and run for 5 miles. Watch your step!

In case you didn't know, Ireland is known for its drinking. Everyone gets in on the act, including this guy. I think the smokes were his, too.

Two things Ireland has in abundance are flowers and scenic cemetaries.

Dublin, Ireland. If you're any kind of beer aficionado at all, hit the Guinness brewery in Dublin. The building is shaped like a pint glass (kinda), and the tours are interesting. You start at the bottom and end up at the top floor, where you get a free Guinness and great views of Dublin.

A cute but unenthused kid at an Irish street fair. NOT into face-painting!

Celtic crosses give Ireland a mysterious feel.
